Travel woes

Comments:

I AM writing in disgust and frustration over the traffic problems we have in this area.

Last Thursday morning at 9.30 I wanted to travel to Perth by train. Cockburn Central railway station car park on both sides of the freeway was full (as usual).

I decided to go on the freeway and drive to the city. No sooner had I made this mistake I found myself bumper to bumper with city-bound traffic.

Fifteen minutes later I reached Murdoch, so I attempted to park at that railway station car park, but that had a sign stating it was full.

I rang my daughter who was waiting for me in Northbridge to meet me for lunch and told her of the situation.

By this time I had had enough; I turned around and went home. Something has to be done about this situation.
