NESTLED on Hillarys marina near the lighthouse, Spinnakers Café offers a breathtaking outlook of water as far as the eye can see.
But equally as popular as its location is the restaurant’s cuisine – with something delicious on the menu to suit any craving.
Starting off the day at 8am, breakfast options range from light and fresh to the hearty.
Why not try the mushroom medley – grilled field mushrooms, sauteed button mushrooms, wilted spinach and warm cherry tomatoes – or the pancake stack, topped with Greek-style yoghurt, and a choice of mixed berry compote or banana and butterscotch?
Those looking for a bite to eat for lunch have all their bases covered, from a quick meal to a luxurious long sitting with friends.
Like gorgeous Meat Standards Australia-approved scotch fillet, grilled to your liking, served on a mild mustard mash and roasted tomatoes with sweet chilli onion jam.
Or the grilled vegetable stack, layering eggplant, zucchini, capsicum, field mushrooms and sweet potato topped with fresh spinach and sweet chilli onion jam.
But if you are looking to share, there is also a daily tasting plate.
But some things never change with Spinnakers Café’s signature plate of salt and pepper calamari still hard to go by – dusted with lemon pepper, lightly-fried and drizzled with sweet chilli soy and aioli.
The evening dining sensations continue with a diverse range of meat, seafood and vegetable dishes.
Like the lamb tenderloin, marinated in garlic and rosemary, grilled medium and served with oven-roasted ratatouille and peppered Swede.
There is also a large range of desserts and an extensive drink menu.
